Aquatic Meets Officials Workshop

 Course Objectives

This workshop aims to enhance members' understanding of the works of swimming officials at the various aquatic meets and to arrange on-site practical opportunities for aquatic meets officials. It also aims to help aquatic meets organised by various districts of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department or other organisations to proceed smoothly and achieve better results.

Unit 1: How to Organise an Aquatic Meet

Unit 2: Job Assignments and Responsibilities of Swimming Officials

Unit 3: World Aquatics (FINA) Swimming Competition Rules

Study information

Course hours: 5 hours

Practical hours: Participate in at least two aquatic meets organised by HKSTA.

written examination

Enrollment Criteria

Members of HKSTA have priority; non-members must hold a swimming teacher certificate issued by HKSTA.

Upon completion of the course, an award will be given

Hong Kong Swimming Teachers' Association Aquatic Meets Officials Certificate

Upon completion of the course, the candidate will be awarded a professional title by the HKSTA
