Course Objectives

Promoting swimming lessons for young children will help swimming instructors gain a deeper understanding of techniques and teaching methods for teaching young children, enabling them to develop a more professional approach to early childhood education.

Course Content

Theory Lessons:

Unit 1: Anatomy and Physiology of Swimming

Unit 2: Stages of Physiological Development in Early Childhood

Unit 3: The Psychological Relationship Between Parents and Children

Unit 4: Preparations Before and After Swimming Lessons

Unit 5: Qualifications Required for Preschool Swimming Teachers

Unit 6: Ideal Swimming Pool Facilities, Water Temperature, and Suitable Class Times

Unit 7: Learning Plan for 0-2 Year Olds - Textbooks, Teaching Methods, Content, and Time Allocation

Unit 8: Learning Plan for Ages 2-4: Textbooks, Teaching Methods, Content, and Time Allocation

Unit 9: Warm-up Exercises (including suitable games for land and water)

Unit 10: Infant Massage

Unit 11: Emergency Response

Practical Lesson: Swimming Teaching and Practical Lesson (Swimming Pool):

Practical 1: Warm-up exercises for 0-2 year olds, including entry and exit from the water. Course exercises include: hugging, swinging to relieve tension, floating on their back, and leg movements.

Practical 2: Warm-up exercises for 2-4 year olds, including entry and exit techniques, and practice of course movements. This includes hugging, swinging to relieve tension, floating on their backs, and leg movements.

Practical 3: Water Games for 2-4 Year Olds

Written test: 1 hour

Enrollment Criteria

Holders of a valid swimming instructor certificate or equivalent qualification from this association, and a valid lifesaving certificate.

Age 21 or above

Upon completion, an award will be given.

Early Childhood Swimming Teacher Certificate

Upon completion of the course, the candidate will be awarded a professional title by the relevant organization.

Certificate validity period
