Would you be willing to dedicate your swimming teaching experience and time to reducing the risk of drowning accidents among left-behind children in mountainous areas?
The Hong Kong Swimming Teachers Association, the Guangdong Charity Association for Aiding Orphans and Students, and Guangzhou Zhuoyi Sports Training and Operation Company are jointly organizing the "China Rural Water Safety Promotion Project." This project provides free swimming lessons and promotes water safety knowledge to children in rural Guangdong Province, aiming to reduce drowning injuries and deaths among rural children and empower the younger generation in rural areas to save themselves and others. Starting in May 2018, we have been providing free swimming lessons to students at Sihe Town Middle School in Xinyi City, Guangdong Province, hoping that the entire town's younger generation will gain water safety knowledge and be able to save themselves and others. We sincerely invite members to serve as volunteer swimming teachers and undertake this meaningful work, contributing to the care of children in the mountainous areas of Guangdong. Sihe Town is approximately a 5-hour drive from Shenzhen. The association will cover all transportation, food, and accommodation expenses during the service period. We welcome members to participate in all or part of the course.
