Dear Participants,

On behalf of the Hong Kong Swimming Teachers’ Association, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for taking part in the 18th Hong Kong 3000m Water Safety Long-distance Swim 2026 and the Water Safety Carnival.

This year, the event was held at GO PARK AQUA, marking a new venue and a new arrangement for the Association. We are sincerely grateful for your trust, support and co-operation throughout the day, which enabled the event to be completed smoothly.

This activity has now reached its 18th year, and the most important reason it has continued is the participation of each and every one of you. Over the past 18 years, we have walked this journey together with our participants, witnessing people of different ages and backgrounds taking part in aquatic activities, supporting water safety, and helping to promote this meaningful cause.

This event is not a competition. Its purpose is to promote water safety through long-distance swimming and the Water Safety Carnival, encouraging more people to understand the importance of staying safe in and around water. Your participation is more than taking part in an activity; it is a valuable contribution to spreading the message of water safety to the wider community.

Without your participation, support and encouragement, this event simply could not have been successfully held. Every participant’s presence is a great encouragement to the Hong Kong Swimming Teachers’ Association and a vital force in helping us continue our work in water safety education.

Thank you once again for walking alongside us over these 18 years. We look forward to seeing you again in future events as we continue to promote water safety together and benefit even more people in the community.
